Ingredients

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon instant yeast
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup lukewarm water
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 egg, beaten for glaze
  • Sesame seeds, for topping

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the flour, yeast, and salt. Add the lukewarm water and olive oil and mix until a soft dough forms.
  2. Knead the dough until it is soft and pliable. Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rest for 15 minutes.
  3. Divide the dough into 8 equal pieces. Roll each piece into a round ball. Place the balls onto a lightly greased baking sheet.
  4. Brush the tops of the rolls with the beaten egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Bake in a preheated 375 degree F oven for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
  5. Remove the rolls from the oven and let them cool before serving.
