Ingredients
5 quarts of cold water
1 cup of kosher salt
1/2 cup of granulated sugar

Directions

Cover and refrigerate the turkey in the brine for 12 to 24 hours.
Remove the turkey from the brine and discard the brine.
Rinse the turkey, pat dry and prepare as desired.
