Ingredients
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking sheet.
- In a large bowl, combine honey, butter, eggs, vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, ginger, and baking soda. Mix until well-combined.
- Add the flour and mix until a dough forms. If desired, add the chopped nuts.
- Roll the dough out to 1/4-inch thick. Cut out shapes with a cookie cutter and place on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until lightly browned. Allow to cool completely before serving.
