Ingredients
- 1 package of spaghetti
- 1-2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup of white onion, diced
- 1/4 cup of red bell pepper, diced
- 1/2 teaspoon of dried oregano
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1/4 cup of white wine
- 1/2 cup of tomato sauce
- 1/4 cup of parsley, chopped
- 1/4 cup of parmesan cheese, grated
Directions
- In a large pot, bring 4 quarts of salted water to a boil.
- Add the spaghetti to the boiling water and cook according to the package instructions.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
- Add the garlic, onion, and bell pepper and sauté for 2-3 minutes, or until the vegetables are softened.
- Stir in the oregano, salt and pepper, and white wine and cook for another minute.
- Stir in the tomato sauce and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Drain the cooked spaghetti and add it to the sauce. Toss to combine.
- Garnish with the chopped parsley and grated parmesan cheese.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
