- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup yellow cornmeal

Directions
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, cornmeal, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, beat together the butter, buttermilk, and egg.
- Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
