Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup uncooked white rice
- 1/4 cup tomato sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 large cabbage leaves
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat.
- Add the onion and garlic and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
- Stir in the uncooked rice, tomato sauce, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper. Cook for an additional 5 minutes.
- Divide the filling among the cabbage leaves and roll up. Place the rolls in a greased baking dish.
- Bake for 25 minutes, or until the cabbage leaves are tender.
