Ingredients
1 lb. ground beef
1 small onion, diced
1 clove garlic, minced
1/4 cup uncooked white rice
1/4 cup tomato sauce
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
Salt and pepper to taste
4 large cabbage leaves
Directions
Preheat oven to 375°F.
In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat.
Add the onion and garlic and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
Stir in the uncooked rice, tomato sauce, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper. Cook for an additional 5 minutes.
Divide the filling among the cabbage leaves and roll up. Place the rolls in a greased baking dish.
Bake for 25 minutes, or until the cabbage leaves are tender.
