Krispy Brownie Delights

Ingredients

• 1 cup butter
• 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
• 1 ½ cups white sugar
• 4 eggs
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1 cup all-purpose flour
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• ¼ teaspoon salt
• 2 cups crispy rice cereal

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
2. In a large saucepan, melt butter and chocolate chips over low heat, stirring constantly until smooth.
3. Remove from heat and stir in sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract.
4. In a medium bowl, stir together flour, baking powder, and salt. Slowly stir dry ingredients into the chocolate mixture.
5. Stir in the crispy rice cereal.
6. Pour batter into the prepared baking dish.
7. Bake in preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
8. Allow to cool before cutting into squares.
