Ingredients
3-4 lb. prime rib roast
1/2 cup of kosher salt
2 tablespoons of dried herbs (such as oregano, rosemary, thyme, and/or basil)

Directions
Preheat oven to 450°F (232°C).

Roast in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, then reduce the heat to 325°F (163°C).
Continue roasting for 1 1/2 to 2 hours, or until an instant-read thermometer registers 130°F (54°C) for medium-rare.
Remove from the oven and let rest for 15 minutes before slicing and serving.
