Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb ground pork
  • 1/4 cup green onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp sesame oil
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 tsp soy sauce
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
  • 20 egg roll wrappers
  • Oil for frying

Directions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the ground pork, green onion, garlic, sesame oil, red pepper flakes, soy sauce, sugar, salt, and black pepper. Mix until all ingredients are evenly combined.
  2. Lay out one egg roll wrapper on a flat surface. Place 2 tablespoons of the pork mixture in the center of the wrapper.
  3. Fold the bottom corner of the wrapper over the filling, tucking it underneath the filling. Fold the sides of the wrapper in towards the center of the filling.
  4. Roll the wrapper up, starting from the bottom, until the top corner is reached. Press down gently to seal the edges of the wrapper closed.
  5. Repeat with the remaining wrappers and filling.
  6. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Fry the egg rolls for 3-4 minutes, turning occasionally, until golden brown and crispy.
  7. Serve the egg rolls warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
