Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
2 potatoes, peeled and diced
1 onion, diced
3 cloves of garlic, minced
1 inch piece of ginger, minced
2 tablespoons of tomato paste
1 teaspoon of cumin powder
1/2 teaspoon of coriander powder
1/2 teaspoon of garam masala
1/2 teaspoon of turmeric powder
1/2 teaspoon of chili powder
Salt and pepper to taste

Directions
Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add the onion, garlic, and ginger. Cook for 3 minutes until onion is soft.

Add the potatoes and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add the tomato paste, cumin, coriander, garam masala, turmeric, and chili powder. Stir to combine.
Add 1/2 cup of water and stir. Simmer for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until potatoes are tender and sauce is thick.
Add the cilantro and stir to combine.
Serve hot with steamed rice or naan bread.
