Ingredients

  • 4 pork chops
  • 4 slices smoked Gouda cheese
  • 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
  2. Season both sides of the pork chops with salt and pepper.
  3. Place a slice of Gouda cheese and a spoonful of bacon onto each pork chop.
  4. Mix together the flour and breadcrumbs in a shallow bowl.
  5. Dredge the pork chops in the flour and bread crumb mixture.
  6. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  7. Place the pork chops in the skillet and cook for 3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.
  8. Transfer the pork chops to a baking dish and bake for 15 minutes, or until the pork chops are cooked through.
  9. Serve hot.
