Ingredients
- 1 whole chicken, about 4-5 pounds
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano

- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

Directions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
- Rinse the chicken and pat dry with paper towels.
- Place the chicken in a roasting pan. Drizzle olive oil over the chicken and rub it to coat.
- In a small bowl, mix together garlic powder, rosemary, thyme, oregano, basil, pepper, and salt. Sprinkle the mixture over the chicken, rubbing it in with your hands.
- Bake in preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the juices run clear.
- Let chicken rest for 10 minutes before carving.
