Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter
  • 3 cups granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup evaporated milk
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup chopped jalapenos
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions

  1. In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
  2. Add the sugar and evaporated milk. Stir continuously until the mixture comes to a boil.
  3. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
  4. Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the chocolate chips, chopped jalapenos, and vanilla.
  5. Pour the mixture into a greased 8-inch square baking pan.
  6. Refrigerate for 2 hours, or until the fudge has set.
  7. Cut into small squares and serve.
