Ingredients
- 1 pound Italian sausage
- 1 (16 ounce) package cheese tortellini
- 2 (14.5 ounce) cans diced tomatoes
- 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the Italian sausage until no longer pink. Drain off any excess fat.
- In a large bowl, combine the cooked sausage, cheese tortellini, diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, basil, and black pepper. Mix well.
- Pour the mixture into a 9x13 inch baking dish.
- Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the top of the dish.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
