Ingredients
1/2 cup butter, melted
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoons cold water
6 cups fresh blackberries
1 cup white sugar
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
Directions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease a 9 inch pie dish.
In a medium bowl, mix together the melted butter, 1 1/2 cups flour, baking powder, and salt. Add cold water, and mix until the dough forms a ball.
Roll out the dough, and fit into the prepared pie dish. Refrigerate while preparing the filling.
In a large bowl, mix together the blackberries, sugar, 2 tablespoons flour, and lemon juice. Pour into the crust.
Bake in the preheated oven for 40 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown.
