Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh figs, chopped
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup ground almonds
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease a baking sheet.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine figs, sugar, almonds, vanilla extract, and cinnamon. Stir in melted butter until all ingredients are well blended.
  3. Sift flour into the mixture and stir until blended. Drop tablespoonfuls of the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Bake in preheated oven for 12 to 15 minutes, or until lightly browned. Allow cookies to cool before serving.
