Ingredients

  • 6-8 pork sausages
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground paprika
  • 3 large potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • salt to taste

Directions

  1. Add the sausages and onion to the Instant Pot. Drizzle with olive oil.
  2. Add the chicken broth, garlic, thyme, black pepper, and paprika.
  3. Close the lid on the Instant Pot and set the valve to sealing. Select Manual and adjust the time to 4 minutes.
  4. Once the cooking time is complete, quick-release the pressure.
  5. Open the lid and remove the sausages. Set aside.
  6. Add the potatoes to the Instant Pot and stir. Close the lid and set the valve to sealing. Select Manual and adjust the time to 4 minutes.
  7. Once the cooking time is complete, quick-release the pressure.
  8. Open the lid and mash the potatoes with a potato masher. Add the milk and butter and stir until combined. Season with salt to taste.
  9. Serve the mashed potatoes with the sausages. Enjoy!
