Ingredients

  • 2 lbs steak, cut into cubes
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup minced garlic
  • 2 tablespoons Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/2 cup dry white wine
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1 (14.5 ounce) can diced tomatoes
  • 1 (4.5 ounce) jar sliced mushrooms
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

Directions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add steak cubes and garlic and cook, stirring often, until the steak is browned.
  3. Stir in Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and sugar.
  4. Pour in the white wine and beef broth and bring to a boil.
  5. Stir in the tomatoes and mushrooms. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. Stir in the parsley and serve over cooked pasta.
