Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and lightly grease an 8-inch square baking pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt. Stir in the melted butter and milk until a soft dough forms.
  3. Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead for 1 minute.
  4. Roll the dough into a 9-inch square and brush with melted butter.
  5. In a small bowl, combine the sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle the mixture over the dough.
  6. Roll up the dough and cut into 12 slices. Place the slices in the prepared pan.
  7. Bake for 25 minutes, or until golden brown.
  8. Remove from the oven and let cool before serving.
