This banana split cake combines all the classic flavors of a banana split - bananas, strawberries, pineapple, chocolate, and whipped cream - in a delicious and easy-to-make dessert. Ingredients

  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 2 eggs
  • 5 bananas, sliced
  • 1 can crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 quart strawberries, sliced
  • 1 container whipped topping
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts
  • 1/2 cup chocolate syrup
  • Maraschino cherries for garnish

Directions

  1. In a bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Press into the bottom of a 9x13 inch dish to form a crust.
  2. In another bowl, cream powdered sugar and softened butter. Add eggs and beat well. Spread over crust layer.
  3. Layer sliced bananas, crushed pineapple, and sliced strawberries over creamed mixture.
  4. Top with whipped topping and sprinkle with chopped nuts. Drizzle chocolate syrup over the top.
  5. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours before serving. Garnish with maraschino cherries before serving.
