Ingredients
- 2 cups of cooked jasmine rice
- 1/4 cup of vegetable oil
- 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric powder
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon of ground ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon of ground coriander
- 1/4 teaspoon of ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon of ground black pepper
- 1/2 cup of frozen peas
- 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons of fish sauce
- 1/4 cup of chopped fresh cilantro
- 1/4 cup of chopped scallions
- 1/4 cup of chopped peanuts
Directions
- Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the onion, garlic, ginger, coriander, cumin, and turmeric and cook until the onion is soft, about 5 minutes.
- Add the cooked rice and stir to combine.
- Add the peas, soy sauce, and fish sauce and cook for an additional 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Add the cilantro, scallions, and peanuts and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
- Serve hot.
