Ingredients

  • 200 grams paneer (cottage cheese), cubed
  • 1 cup green peas

  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/4 cup fresh coriander leaves, chopped

Directions

  1. Heat oil in a pan on medium heat. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
  2. Add finely chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
  3. Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté until the raw smell disappears.
  4. Add pureed tomatoes and cook until the oil separates from the masala.
  5. Add turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well.
  6. Add cubed paneer and green peas. Mix gently to coat them with the masala.
  7. Cover the pan and cook for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  8. Sprinkle garam masala and chopped coriander leaves. Mix well.
  9. Turn off the heat and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
  10. Serve hot with roti, naan, or steamed rice.
