Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cut into small cubes
  • 1/3 cup rice wine vinegar
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 head cabbage, cored and chopped
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons cold water

Directions

  1. Heat the oil in a large pot over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the chicken and cook until lightly browned, about 5 minutes.
  3. Add the vinegar, soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, red pepper flakes, and black pepper. Stir to combine.
