Ingredients

  • 2 lbs. beef chuck, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1 teaspoon red chili flakes
  • 1 (14-ounce) can coconut milk
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon fish sauce
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional garnishes: fresh cilantro, sliced green onions, and lime wedges

Directions

  1. In a slow cooker, combine the beef, onion, garlic, ginger, coriander, cumin, turmeric, garam masala, and red chili flakes.
