Ingredients

  • 1 lb shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 red bell pepper (sliced)
  • 1 green bell pepper (sliced)
  • 3 green onions (sliced)
  • 1/4 cup unsalted peanuts (chopped)

Directions

  1. In a small bowl, combine the honey, garlic, sesame oil, soy sauce, and red pepper flakes. Stir until well combined.
  2. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the bell peppers and green onions to the skillet and cook for 3 minutes.
  3. Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2 minutes, stirring often. Add the honey-garlic mixture to the skillet and cook for an additional 2 minutes, stirring often.
  4. Remove the skillet from the heat and stir in the peanuts. Serve hot.
