Directions
- In a medium saucepan, combine the soy sauce, sake, mirin, and light brown sugar.
- Bring the mixture to a boil, stirring occasionally.
- Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Remove the sauce from the heat and stir in the sake, ginger, and garlic.
- Allow the sauce to cool to room temperature before using.
