  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (28 oz) crushed tomatoes
  • 1 can (14 oz) tomato sauce
  • 1 can (6 oz) tomato paste
  • 2 teaspoons dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 pound spaghetti


  1. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add the diced onions and minced garlic to the skillet with the beef and cook until onions are translucent.
