Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup ground flaxseed
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup canola oil
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a donut pan and set aside.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, flaxseed, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the oil, milk, and vanilla extract.
  4. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Do not over mix.
  5. Spoon the batter into the prepared donut pan and bake for 15 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into a donut comes out clean.
  6. Let the donuts cool for 5 minutes before removing them from the pan.
  7. Enjoy!
