Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup long-grain white rice
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 can diced tomatoes, drained

Directions

  1. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef and onion over medium-high heat until the beef is browned. Drain any excess fat.
  2. Add the garlic, bell pepper, cumin, chili powder, and salt to the skillet and cook for 1 minute.
