Ingredients

  • 2 pounds of ground pork
  • 1/4 cup of paprika
  • 1/4 cup of cayenne pepper
  • 2 tablespoons of garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons of dried oregano
  • 1 tablespoon of ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon of ground cloves
  • 1 teaspoon of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/4 cup of white vinegar

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the ground pork, paprika, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, oregano, cumin, cloves, sugar, salt, and white vinegar until everything is thoroughly combined.
  2. Shape the pork into patties or links and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  3. Bake the chorizo in a preheated 350°F oven for 25-30 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  4. Serve the chorizo with your favorite sides or use it to top tacos, nachos, or salads.
