Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 1/2 cup diced bell pepper
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 4 hamburger buns

Directions

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef, onion, and bell pepper until the beef is cooked through and the vegetables are tender.
  2. Add the ketchup, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to the skillet and stir to combine.
  3. Continue to cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the mixture is thick and bubbly, about 10 minutes.
  4. To serve, spoon the Sloppy Joe mixture onto the hamburger buns and enjoy!
