  • 2 pounds caribou meat, cut into cubes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 large onion, chopped

  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 4 potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup red wine

  • 2 bay leaves

  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the caribou meat cubes to the skillet and cook until browned on all sides. Transfer the meat to the slow cooker.
