Ingredients

  • 2 lbs beef chuck, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 carrots, peeled and sliced
  • 4 celery stalks, sliced
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup red wine
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 tsp dried thyme

Directions
