Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups wheat bran
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1 egg
- 1/3 cup honey or maple syrup

- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup raisins or dried fruit (optional)

Directions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
- In a large bowl, combine the wheat bran and milk. Let it sit for a few minutes to soften the bran.
- Add the vegetable oil, egg, honey or maple syrup, and vanilla extract to the bran mixture. Mix well.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
