- 6 slices whole wheat bread, cubed
- 3 eggs, lightly beaten
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 2 cups low-fat milk

Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch (23 cm) square baking dish with butter.
- In a large bowl, combine the bread cubes, eggs, honey, brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Stir in the milk and mix until everything is combined.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and top with raisins and walnuts, if desired.
- Bake for 30 minutes, or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Remove from oven and let cool for 10 minutes before serving.
