Easy Ice Cream in a Bag

Ingredients

• 1/2 cup crushed ice
• 2 tablespoons sugar
• 1/2 cup half & half
• 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1 gallon-sized resealable plastic bag
• 1 quart-sized resealable plastic bag

Directions

1. Combine the crushed ice, sugar, half & half, and vanilla extract in the quart-sized bag. Seal the bag tightly.
2. Put the sealed quart-sized bag into the gallon-sized bag and seal the gallon-sized bag tightly.
3. Shake the bag vigorously for 5 minutes, until the mixture has thickened.
4. Carefully remove the smaller bag from the larger bag and discard the larger bag.
5. Cut open the smaller bag and enjoy your homemade ice cream!
