Ingredients

  • 1 lb of fresh green beans
  • 1/4 cup of slivered almonds
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  1. Wash and trim green beans and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Add onion and garlic and sauté for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Add green beans and almonds and stir to combine.
  5. Sauté for 5-7 minutes, or until green beans are tender.
