Ingredients
- 1/2 cup hazelnuts, finely ground
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
- In a small bowl, combine the ground hazelnuts, sugar, cinnamon and salt. Mix together until well blended.
- Unfold the thawed puff pastry sheet and spread the melted butter evenly over the surface. Sprinkle the hazelnut mixture over the top and spread evenly.
- Roll the pastry sheet into a log, starting from one end and rolling inwards until you reach the middle. Then do the same from the other end until you meet in the middle. Slice into 1/2 inch thick rounds and place on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and crisp.
- Remove from oven and let cool completely before serving.
