Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup white wine
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 4 ounces prosciutto, diced
  • 1/4 cup hazelnuts, chopped

Directions

  1. In a shallow bowl, mix together the flour, salt, and pepper.
  2. Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels, then coat in the flour mixture.
  3. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 5 minutes per side.
  4. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside on a plate.
  5. Add the garlic to the skillet and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute. Add the white wine and chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
  6. Add the cream and prosciutto and simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  7. Add the hazelnuts and simmer for an additional 3 minutes.
  8. Return the chicken to the skillet and simmer until heated through, about 2 minutes.
  9. Serve the chicken with the sauce spooned over the top.
