These grilled portobello stacks are a delicious and impressive dish that can be served as an appetizer or main course. Ingredients

  • 4 large portobello mushrooms
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, grated
  • 1/2 cup fresh basil pesto

Directions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium heat.
  2. Clean the portobello mushrooms by removing the stems and gently wiping the caps with a damp paper towel. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Grill the mushrooms for 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they are tender and grill marks appear. Remove from the grill and set aside.
