Ingredients
- 1 octopus (1-1.5kg)
- 2 onions, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup olives, pitted and halved
- 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons white wine
- Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
- Clean and prepare the octopus, removing any eyes or other organs.
- Combine the onions, garlic, olives, tomatoes, olive oil, white wine, salt and pepper in a large bowl and mix until evenly combined.
- Place the octopus in the bowl and coat it evenly with the marinade.
- Cover the bowl and let the octopus marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
- Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
- Place the octopus on the grill and cook for 10-15 minutes, turning once, until the octopus is cooked through.
- Serve the grilled octopus with the remaining marinade as a sauce.
