Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons blue cheese
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh basil
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 pound white mushrooms

Directions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the butter, blue cheese, basil, garlic powder, salt and pepper until well blended.
  3. Clean the mushrooms and carefully remove the stems. Place the mushroom caps on a large baking sheet.
  4. Fill each mushroom cap with a teaspoon of the blue cheese butter mixture.
  5. Grill the mushrooms for 5-7 minutes, or until they are tender.
  6. Serve hot or cold as an appetizer.
