Ingredients
- 1 cup stone-ground grits
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon wasabi paste
- Salt to taste
Directions
- Bring 4 cups of water to a boil in a large saucepan over high heat.
- Add the grits and stir. Reduce heat to low and simmer for about 25 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Add the butter, cheese, cream, and wasabi paste and stir until all ingredients are combined and the cheese is melted.
- Season with salt to taste.
- Serve hot.
