Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter, melted
  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 3/4 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup evaporated milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease an 8x8-inch baking pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix together the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter until well blended.
  3. Press the mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan.
  4. In a medium saucepan, combine the chocolate chips, brown sugar, evaporated milk, and vanilla extract.
  5. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture comes to a boil.
  6. Remove from heat and pour over the graham cracker crust.
  7. Bake in preheated oven for 25 minutes.
  8. Remove from oven and cool before cutting into bars.
