Ingredients

  • 1 lb of Chicken Strips
  • 1/2 Cup of All-Purpose Flour
  • 1/4 Cup of Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
  • 1/4 Cup of White Sugar
  • 1 Tablespoon of Ground Cinnamon
  • 1 Teaspoon of Salt
  • Oil for Frying (enough to fill a large pot to about 2-3 inches deep)

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, sugar, cinnamon, and salt and mix until well blended.
  2. Add chicken strips to the bowl and coat evenly with the flour mixture.
  3. Heat oil in a large pot over medium/high heat until it reaches 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  4. Carefully add chicken strips to the hot oil and fry for 4-5 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  5. Remove chicken strips from the oil and drain on a paper towel-lined plate.
  6. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
