Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup butterscotch chips
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together butter, sugars and vanilla extract until light and fluffy.
  3. Add egg and mix until combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda and salt.
  5. Slowly add the flour mixture to the butter mixture and mix until fully incorporated.
  6. Stir in chocolate chips, butterscotch chips and pecans.
  7. Drop by tablespoonfuls onto prepared baking sheets 2 inches apart.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown. Allow to cool on baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
