2 cups of your favorite fruit, peeled, cored, and diced
2 cups of cold water
1/2 teaspoon of lemon juice
Directions
In a medium saucepan, combine the sugar and water. Heat the mixture over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally, until the sugar is dissolved.
Add in the diced fruit and bring the mixture to a boil. Reduce the heat to medium-low and simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the lemon juice. Allow the mixture to cool completely.
Pour the mixture into a blender and blend until smooth. Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and freeze according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
Once the sherbet is frozen, serve immediately or transfer to an airtight container and store in the freezer for up to 1 month.
