Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 1 egg
- ½ cup of breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons of milk
- 2 tablespoons of parsley, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- ¼ teaspoon of pepper
- 2 tablespoons of butter
- 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
Directions
- In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, chopped onion, egg, breadcrumbs, milk, parsley, salt and pepper. Mix until all ingredients are combined.
- Shape the mixture into balls about the size of a golf ball.
- Heat the butter and oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the meatballs to the skillet and cook for about 10 minutes, turning occasionally until golden brown on all sides.
- Reduce the heat to low and cook for an additional 10 minutes or until the meatballs are cooked through.
- Serve with potatoes, gravy and a side of vegetables.
