- 2 large potatoes, peeled and grated
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
Directions
- In a large bowl, combine the grated potatoes, flour, salt and pepper. Mix until everything is evenly combined.
- Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the potato mixture to the skillet, pressing down to form a pancake shape.
- Cook for about 5 minutes, or until the farl is golden brown on the bottom. Flip the farl over, and cook for an additional 5 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Remove from the skillet and keep warm. Repeat with the remaining potato mixture, adding more butter and oil as needed.
