Ingredients
- 1 bunch of dandelions, washed and dried
- 2 tablespoons of all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon of baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
- 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
- 1/2 cup of cold water
- Oil for frying
Directions
- In a large bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Slowly add the cold water and whisk until the batter is smooth and free of lumps.
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Dip each dandelion into the batter and carefully place into the hot oil.
- Fry the dandelions for 3-4 minutes, or until golden and crispy.
- Remove from the oil and drain on paper towels.
