Ingredients

  • 1 bunch of dandelions, washed and dried
  • 2 tablespoons of all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1/2 cup of cold water
  • Oil for frying

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Slowly add the cold water and whisk until the batter is smooth and free of lumps.
  3. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Dip each dandelion into the batter and carefully place into the hot oil.
  5. Fry the dandelions for 3-4 minutes, or until golden and crispy.
  6. Remove from the oil and drain on paper towels.
